About Us
The Commonwealth of Kentucky has a disproportionately high incidence of lung cancer. Mortality from lung cancer exceeds the deaths from breast, colorectal, prostate and pancreatic cancer, combined. This 20-year initiative encourages the combined efforts of the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville in lung cancer translation and clinical research, early detection and epidemiology initiatives, and the development of the Kentucky Clinical Trial Network.
